This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Colrain, Mass. — May 23 — In remembrance of Boston Fire Department Firefighter Robert T. Kilduff, who lost his life while performing his duties, the Colrain Firefighters' Association joined fire stations throughout the area. Kilduff spent 24 years protecting the public and assisting with emergency operations as a member of Rescue Company 2. The fire service as a whole acknowledged his passing and offered support to his friends, family, and fellow firefighters.

The risks that emergency responders encounter on a regular basis are brought to light by line-of-duty deaths. As members of the fire service community considered Kilduff's dedication, professionalism, and years of devoted service to others, the Colrain Firefighters' Association sent its condolences.
