Bernardston, MA. — May 25 — In observance of Memorial Day, members of the Bernardston Fire Department joined communities nationwide in paying tribute to service soldiers who lost their lives while serving their country. The yearly celebration honored the sacrifices made by military personnel throughout the history of the country and offered a chance to consider their commitment and service. To honor those who lost their lives defending the nation, memorial services and ceremonies were held across the nation.


The day also represented the ideals of responsibility, dedication, and public service for members of the emergency services sector. The Bernardston Fire Department joined locals in paying tribute to the country's fallen and acknowledging the enduring effects of their sacrifice.
