Berlin Fire & EMS Remembered Chief Robert W. Munter

Berlin, MA. — May 29 — The Berlin Fire & EMS Department commemorated the 28th anniversary of former Chief Robert W. Munter's line-of-duty death. On May 29, 1998, Chief Munter experienced a medical issue while performing an examination at Berlin Memorial School. He worked for the department for many years and was instrumental in helping the people of Berlin.


Members of the department had the chance to consider his dedication to community service, leadership, and public safety during the yearly observance. In the fire department, remembering former comrades is still a significant custom. The department paid tribute to Chief Munter's legacy and acknowledged the long-lasting effects of his service on the fire department and Berlin community.
