Junior firefighter Lizzy Pflieger was recognized by members of the Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team on June 2nd after being chosen as a catcher for Cumberland Regional High School's First Team All-Conference.

According to officials, Pflieger's performance, commitment, and diligence during the high school softball season earned her the honor. She balances her passion to sports and community service by working as a junior fireman with Station 39 in addition to her athletic achievements.
