At the NJ & NY Volunteer Firemen's Association June convention, President Tony Chiodo, right, presented officers and members of the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department with a Unit Citation Award for their firefighting efforts at a gasoline tanker truck fire on January 8th, 2024. "For their actions in preventing a rapidly spreading fire from causing even more widespread damage and destruction, and doing so without serious injury to any of the responding firefighters."
