Eight-year-old Jeffrey Estabrook was honored by the Bungay Fire Brigade on June 10th for his prompt thinking and actions in an emergency.

According to officials, Jeffrey saw someone in distress and acted right away to get help. He maintained composure under pressure and made sure that emergency personnel were alerted as soon as possible.

Members of the department commended Jeffrey for exhibiting bravery, maturity, and a readiness to assist others when it was most important. According to fire personnel, his efforts demonstrate how individuals of all ages may contribute positively in an emergency.
