Warren Firefighters Recognized Sacrifices on Memorial Day

WARREN, VT. — May 25th — In observance of Memorial Day, the Warren Volunteer Fire Department joined communities across in paying tribute to the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the US military. Every year on the final Monday in May, the holiday honors military personnel who gave their lives while serving their country. The day also represents the ideals of responsibility, service, and dedication to others for many in the emergency services community.


Members of the department took some time to acknowledge the importance of the event and honor those who lost their lives defending the nation. A reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of military members and the long-lasting effects of their service on communities around the country was provided by the observance.
