The Lincoln/Knox Basic Fire School attended a training session on propane fire suppression techniques on June 8th, hosted by members of the Waldoboro Fire Department.
According to officials, firefighters learned the safety precautions related to pressurized gas events while receiving practical training in recognizing, managing, and putting out propane-related fires. Participants in the program had hands-on experience in controlling dangerous fire situations and using suppression techniques in a safe setting.
