FAIR HAVEN, N.J. — May 5th — During a swearing-in ceremony, the Fair Haven Fire Department Station 13-1 welcomed two new auxiliary members, expanding its volunteer support staff. Tory Glowacky Vallejo and Meg Christner Keefe formally joined the auxiliary, which helps the fire department with public outreach, fundraising, and community events. Vallejo has lived in the borough for almost ten years, while Keefe, a native of Fair Haven, has long volunteered at the town fair.

Beyond emergency responses, volunteer auxiliary members are crucial to the fire department's functioning. The department expressed gratitude to both women for volunteering to help and improve the organization's relationship with the community.
