The Bristol Borough Fire Department honored local and national firefighters on May 5th in observance of National Firefighters Day.

The commitment of career and volunteer firefighters who respond to crises, take part in training, and are always prepared to assist was emphasized by officials. According to the department, firefighters' dedication to public safety, professionalism, and teamwork are crucial in safeguarding Bristol Borough and the neighboring towns.

In recognition of their sacrifice and enduring influence on the fire department, members also took time to honor firefighters who lost their lives while performing their duties.
