Week 4 of the Bristol Borough Fire Department's Junior Officer Development Program, which focused on pre-incident preparation and fire code observations, was concluded on May 4.

Key components of successful preplans, such as building layouts, construction features, occupancy kinds, fire prevention systems, access points, utility locations, and operational concerns, were reviewed by participants, according to officials. Additionally, students learned how to recognize situations and fire code infractions that may have an impact on incident outcomes and firefighter safety.

Preparation, situational awareness, and attention to detail—skills thought to be crucial for aspiring company officers—were highlighted in the training. Practical exercises that tested participants' ability to apply their knowledge to actual emergency situations marked the end of the course.
