Plum, PA - Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department, alongside Stop The Bleed ACS and partners, hosted a “Biker Down: Immediate Care for Riders & Their Passengers” class to teach motorcyclists critical lifesaving skills.

Designed by Chief Jim Sims and Dr. Lee Milligan, the course covered scene safety, bleeding control, airway management, rider movement, helmet access, and spinal stabilization—focusing on care before first responders arrive.

Participants also completed Stop the Bleed and AHA First Aid training, leaving with a tourniquet and starter first aid kit to build their own on-bike response kits.

Training like this helps riders stay prepared to act when every second counts
