Beaver, PA - Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department – Station 63 hosted its second Community CPR Class at Fire Station #3, providing hands-on lifesaving training to local residents.
Led by Captain Mark Vandenbord, Lieutenant Drew Snyder, and Firefighter Jared Shablesky, the class guided participants through both classroom instruction and practical skills training. A total of 18 individuals successfully completed the course, becoming newly trained CPR providers.
Thanks to the generous support of Learn 4 Life CPR – CPR & First Aid Training, participants stayed energized throughout the session, contributing to a productive and engaging learning environment.
With this training, attendees are now equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and ability to respond in critical emergencies, delivering immediate care until emergency medical personnel arrive.
Each trained individual strengthens the community’s safety net—adding 18 more people ready to step up when every second matters.
