EMS Professionals Honored for Service to New Yorkers

Members of the City of New York Fire Department attended the Regional Emergency Medical Services Council of New York City's annual awards event on May 17th, which honors EMS personnel for exceptional service and contributions to emergency medical care.


According to officials, the event celebrated EMS professionals who have gone above and beyond to improve emergency medical services and safeguard New Yorkers' health and safety. In support of the honorees and the EMS community, First Deputy Commissioner Daniel Flynn, members of the FDNY EMS Pipes and Drums, and FDNY employees from throughout the department attended the ceremony.
