EMS Professionals Honored for Service in North Scituate

NORTH SCITUATE, R.I. — May 19 — During National EMS Week, the North Scituate Fire Department honored EMTs, Advanced EMT Cardiacs, paramedics, EMS educators, and EMS leadership for their ongoing community contribution. The crucial role EMS workers play in responding to medical emergencies, auto accidents, and other public safety situations throughout the year was emphasized by department leaders.


In addition to assisting regional mutual aid efforts and public education, crews frequently offer emergency care in dire circumstances. Every May, the United States observes National EMS Week to honor the efforts and commitment of emergency medical professionals. Rhode Island's fire and emergency medical services departments utilized the week to express gratitude to responders for their dedication to patient care, professionalism, and training.
