South Foster EMS Members Recognized During EMS Week

FOSTER, R.I. — May 19th — During National EMS Week, South Foster Volunteer Fire Co. EMS Division members received recognition for their ongoing contributions to the town and its environs. The work of EMTs and responders who deal with medical crises, auto accidents, public assistance, and standby duties all year round was emphasized by department officials.


Additionally, the agency expressed gratitude to nearby EMS and fire departments who assist South Foster firefighters on mutual assistance calls. According to officials, departmental collaboration is still crucial for delivering dependable emergency services throughout the area. First held in 1974, National EMS Week honors EMS workers across the country for their education, professionalism, and commitment to patient care and public safety.
