Engine 1776 Responds to Lift Assist, Helicopter Landing Zone

The Lake Harmony Fire Company used its new equipment, 1776, for its first emergency response on April 25.


According to officials, the new unit was sent to Saint Peter the Fisherman Church to create a landing zone for an arriving medical helicopter after first responding to a lift assist at the Lake Harmony Marina. In order to help air medical teams with the patient evacuation operation, firefighters protected the area.
