AVFD Members Earn Firefighter 1 Certification After Months of Intensive Training
Avon, CT - The members of the AVFD are celebrating a major achievement as Daniel Lake, Ariel Mazara, and Doug Tran have officially earned their Firefighter 1 certification.
Firefighter 1 is a challenging and comprehensive program that demands extensive classroom learning, practical hands-on training, teamwork, and successful completion of rigorous testing. The certification process requires participants to dedicate countless hours while also balancing careers, school responsibilities, family obligations, and volunteer service.
