Members of the Adelphia Fire Company attended the yearly Monmouth County Fallen firemen Memorial Service and Awards Ceremony on May 18th, along with firemen from throughout the county.

Firefighters paid tribute to Philip H. Dittmar, an Adelphia firefighter who lost his life while performing his duties, at the event. According to officials, the yearly ceremony honors Monmouth County firefighters who gave their lives while serving their communities.

Firefighters and departments from across the county came together for the ceremony to honor and remember those who had died while performing their duties.
