ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ — August 10, 2026 — Quakertown Fire Company crews were dispatched to a reported fire alarm in Alexandria Township Monday afternoon, marking the department's sixth run of the day.

Ladder 91 and Tender 91-1, along with department chiefs, responded to investigate the alarm. According to Quakertown Fire Company, crews found no issues and no injuries at the scene.

The response added to an already busy day for Station 91 personnel. The department reported that the Alexandria Township alarm was its sixth call of the day.

Quakertown Fire Company covers an area of around 49 square miles and offers major fire protection and rescue services throughout Franklin Township, as well as parts of Alexandria and Union townships. In some areas of its operating area, the company also offers first-response and EMS transport services.

Ladder 91 is a 2008 Pierce Dash 75-foot rear-mount aerial with a 300-gallon water tank and a 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump, according to the department's apparatus roster. County tanker operations use Tender 91-1, a 1992 Mack Saulsbury tanker with a 3,000-gallon water tank.
