Ashland Reminds Residents Open Burning Season Has Ended

The Ashland Fire Department declared the official end of Massachusetts' open burning season on May 2.
Residents were congratulated by officials for adhering to rules and practicing fire safety over the season. Open burning is currently forbidden until the season reopens on January 15th, 2027, the department warned the public.
Additionally, the department urged locals to maintain their fire safety practices throughout the spring and summer.
