Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Reports 96 April Calls

In April 2026, the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department responded to 96 service requests, for a total of 440 calls thus far this year.


Two fires, 58 EMS and rescue/extrication calls, three hazardous condition responses, 21 service calls or good intent calls, and 12 inadvertent alarms were among the occurrences that occurred in April. 25 patients were transferred by ambulance personnel during the month; so far this year, 105 transports have been accomplished.


In addition, the department handled four plan reviews or permit issuances, three certificates of occupancy, and five inspections. Employees completed 1,368 training hours so far this year, including 76 in April.


According to officials, the department carried on with ambulance transport operations while also taking part in recruitment activities at the New Hampshire CPAT Exam and the Lakes Region Community College Job Fair.
