Deputy Chief Dennis Comeau was highlighted in the Gilmanton Firefighters' Association's "Member Monday" focus series on May 4.
Comeau joined Gilmanton in March 2009 and currently holds the position as fire chief for the Bow Fire Department. He is originally from Salisbury and claimed that his interest in firefighting was sparked by encouragement from a friend and family ties to the fire service.
Comeau has two daughters and has been married for twenty-five years. He likes to play golf, buy and sell watches, and occasionally play the guitar when he's not working for the fire department. His favorite movies are "Braveheart," "The Shawshank Redemption," and "Gladiator." He also mentioned that crockpot Mexican shredded chicken tacos are his favorite shift supper.
