Bridgewater VFD Engine Co. 28 responded with both Engine and Squad 28 to a reported house fire in Freedom Borough, quickly going to work upon arrival. A total of 12 Bridgewater volunteers responded to the incident, contributing to the swift knockdown and overall management of the scene.

Engine company firefighters advanced a handline and had water on the fire within minutes, initiating an aggressive interior attack.

Simultaneously, crews began primary searches to ensure all occupants were accounted for, demonstrating a coordinated and efficient fireground operation.

The response highlights the department’s readiness and the critical role of rapid deployment and teamwork in residential fire incidents.
