Using the Ocean County Fire Academy's Class A burn structure, members of the Forked River Fire Department performed a live burn training exercise. Before extending 1½-inch handlines, crews worked as the first-due company, finishing size-up operations and coordinating Division 1 and Division 2 searches. During the evolution, firefighters rotated through a number of missions, concentrating on search and rescue, water can usage, response speed, suppression operations, and ladder installation for secondary egress.
