James DeCoste Remembered for 50 Years of Service

James "Jim" D. DeCoste, a Life Member, passed away on April 21st, according to the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 and EMS.
For over 50 years, DeCoste served the police and the community. He served in a number of leadership roles during that time, including fire captain and first aid captain. Throughout his decades of service, he remained committed to the organization, according to officials.
The department congratulated DeCoste for his long-standing dedication to emergency services and the community and offered condolences to his family.
