The Totowa Fire Department expressed gratitude to its members for helping to prepare the department's monument for the May 4th Memorial Day celebration.
La Serra Gardens was also acknowledged by officials for its ongoing support of the department and for providing flowers used at the monument.
The preparation effort, according to the government, aids in maintaining the memorial in advance of yearly celebrations honoring those who served.
