Monmouth Beach firefighters Johnny Whelan and Matt Giudetti participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the International FDIC in Indianapolis on April 25.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is the sponsor of the 25th annual event, which takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium. In honor of the 343 New York City firefighters who lost their lives on September 11th, participants ascended the equivalent of 110 stories.
