Clintondale, NY — April 28th — Shawangunk Valley Fire Company organized a monthly UC Battalion 4 drill in which the Clintondale Fire Department took part. Seven mixed teams from eight departments participated, rotating through seven different operating scenarios. Over 100 workers were present, focusing on coordination, communication, and fundamental fireground duties that are frequently involved in mutual aid situations.

Crews can practice standardized tactics across departments and work under shared direction thanks to mixed-company training. During simulated incidents, evolutions emphasized collaboration, responsibility, and effective resource usage. By enhancing interoperability and preparedness, these regional exercises guarantee that agencies can collaborate efficiently in times of crisis. The event is a reflection of the battalion's continuous efforts to maintain operational proficiency and fortify partnerships.
