LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — Fire companies and community organizations from across the Hudson Valley gathered in Lake George on June 12 for a parade celebrating the region's 250th anniversary.
The event drew participants from throughout the area, with marching units, color guards, and auxiliaries taking part in the festivities. Spectators lined the streets as organizations proudly represented their communities in the annual parade.
Following the parade, trophies were awarded to outstanding participants. The Winona Lake Ladies Auxiliary earned first-place honors, while the Winona Lake Color Guard received a second-place trophy for its performance.
The celebration highlighted community pride, tradition, and the strong spirit of volunteer organizations throughout the Hudson Valley region.
