Knox Tests New Dry Hydrant During Training

In April, as part of pump training exercises, members of the Knox Volunteer Fire Company Inc. tested a recently placed dry hydrant in the field. Crews practiced drawing utilizing Engine 2 and a tanker, concentrating on both air prime and manual prime methods. In non-hydranted places, training evolutions strengthen water supply operations, guaranteeing dependable drafting capacities during incidents.
