This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Clark, NJ — April 18th — At the Middlesex County Fire Academy, the Clark Fire Department, located at 250 Broadway, finished its first live burn training of the year. Crews received training in synchronized ventilation under controlled settings, hose line advancement, and inside fire attack. Departments can practice realistic fireground operations and fire behavior thanks to the academy's several burn buildings.

The facility, where the majority of outside training takes place, has two more live burn exercises planned, according to department officials. In order to strengthen safe procedures, responsibility, and communication on the fireground, instructors collaborated closely with personnel. In addition to supporting preparedness for structural fire response and mutual aid operations throughout the region, live fire training satisfies national standards.
