MONROEVILLE, PA— April 29th — The Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving Group awarded cash to the Monroeville Fire Department Company 5 through the PA Skill Grant.

In order to enhance safe and efficient operations on the fireground, the grant enabled the department to buy five new sets of internal firefighter boots. During emergency situations, wearing the appropriate personal protection equipment is crucial for lowering risk and preserving operational preparedness.
