MONROEVILLE, PA — April 23rd — Company 5 of the Monroeville Fire Department honored the contributions of its volunteers in observance of National Volunteer Week.
Officials highlighted the role volunteers play in responding to emergencies, training, maintaining equipment, and supporting community events. Volunteer firemen provide vital coverage for their communities by frequently putting aside obligations to their families or jobs to respond to calls at any time.
