Kennebunk, ME — April 3rd — C-Shift training on victim rescue techniques and donning full turnout gear was held by the Department of Kennebunk Fire-Rescue, located at 1 Summer St., Kennebunk, ME, United States, 04043. As a crucial strategy for inside operations, crews rehearsed keeping victims low to the ground to minimize exposure to heat and smoke. Additionally, the exercise strengthened the use of SCBAs, air management, and crew movement coordination.
These abilities assist victim survival and firefighter safety by adhering to regular fire service training criteria. Serving the "three towns, one community" of Arundel, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport, Kennebunk Fire-Rescue maintains ongoing training to stay prepared for emergencies.
