Before being put into full service, the device will go through final equipment mounting, testing, and driver/operator training. Because Engine 1 and Engine 3 have a similar design, the fireground's operations, pump panel layout, and crew familiarity will all remain consistent.

To increase productivity and cut down on training time between shifts, standardized equipment configurations are frequently utilized. Older fleet equipment will be replaced by the new unit, which will provide EMS response, water delivery, and structure firefighting.
