Office Manager Kathy Boyden Honored in Biddeford

Biddeford, ME — April 2nd — An important milestone in administrative support was reached when the Biddeford Fire Department honored Office Manager Kathy Boyden for 25 years of service. Additionally, Boyden is very close to thirty years of employment with the City of Biddeford. She has overseen office operations, maintained records, and assisted with day-to-day departmental tasks during her employment.


Her kind of administrative work contributes to the upkeep of emergency response-supporting scheduling, reporting, and communication systems. According to fire authorities, maintaining orderly and effective operations requires consistent office leadership. Boyden has assisted generations of firemen and collaborated with several chiefs. In an effort to honor the achievements of both operational and administrative staff, the department commemorated the event.
