NEWTOWN, CT — April 12th — After Hubert Gul successfully completed his probationary period, the Botsford Fire Rescue voted him in as a regular member.

After relocating to Newtown last year, Gul joined the department with past experience, including service with the Echo Hose Fire Company and a Firefighter I certification. He has continued to be involved in department operations and reactions after joining.

To sustain personnel and preparedness, volunteer agencies depend on devoted members. Gul's continual involvement and expertise help the district's activities continue.
