Ansonia, CT — April 18th — A two-day training course on department-specific operations was held by the Ansonia Fire Department under the direction of retired Mike Couture. Both classroom teaching and hands-on activities tailored to Ansonia's response needs were included in the course.

Members received instruction in tactics, decision-making, and operational coordination; practical exercises reinforced important abilities. The program was modified to account for staffing, apparatus capabilities, and local call kinds.
