ROCKWOOD, ME — April 16th — Since joining last year, Dani Carter has completed a number of important certifications, according to Rockwood Fire & Rescue, 3634 Rockwood Rd. Carter has completed both Firefighter I and II training, as well as ice water rescue and, most recently, swift water rescue. Because of the region's rivers, lakes, and shifting seasonal circumstances, agencies in Maine continue to prioritize water rescue training.
