Vergennes, VT - The City of Vergennes Fire Department conducted a focused training session aimed at building skills for complex, low-frequency emergencies.

Crews rotated through three hands-on evolutions, including impalement scenarios, a snowblower entrapment, and a multi-challenge fence prop.

At each station, firefighters applied different techniques while evaluating the advantages and limitations of each approach.

The realistic, small-scale scenarios provided valuable opportunities to sharpen problem-solving, teamwork, and technical rescue skills.

Training of this nature helps ensure crews remain prepared to safely and effectively manage challenging entrapment incidents when they occur.
