North Hudson Engine 4's Pierce and spare Ladder 2's Pierce 100-foot TDA (being used by Ladder Co. 1) were part of the first alarm assignment at 39th St & Bergen Tpke., Union City, April 18th, as fire raced through a row of buildings. Engine 4's water supply operations included setting up their deck gun, while the truck company set up a ladder pipe operation. A total of 4-alarms were sounded.
