CAMBRIDGE, VT — April 16th — In inclement weather, the Cambridge Fire Department trained Rapid Intervention Teams (RITs) and conducted search and rescue operations.

Firefighters rehearsed how to find, package, and remove a member in difficulty by practicing scenarios involving a fake downed fireman in need of rescue. In order to replicate situations that may arise during actual catastrophes, crews worked in moderate to heavy rain.
