Hookstown, PA - Progress continues on the Mini-pumper build at Keystone Fire Apparatus. The truck body has now been finished in the company’s signature green paint. In addition, compartment doors are currently being installed, emergency lighting is being pre-fitted, and reflective chevron striping is being applied to the rear of the vehicle.
Over the coming weeks, the body will be completed and permanently mounted to the chassis. The next phase of the project will include installation of the water tank, along with the fabrication of mounts and storage solutions for tools and equipment.
The team is currently aiming to have the unit ready for display at the annual Sportsmans Bash in May. The project’s progress has been made possible through the continued support of the local community and leadership.
