Hookstown Volunteer Fire Department Handles Surge of Emergency Calls

Hookstown, PA - Over the past 24 hours, members of the Hookstown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a total of 18 incidents, including medical emergencies, storm-related damage, and multiple brush fires.


The majority of calls occurred within their immediate response area, with additional incidents in Independence and as far as Brighton Township. The first call was dispatched shortly before 5:00 PM on 13th March 2026, with all units returning to service by approximately 2:00 AM.


Crews were back in action again on 14th March morning, handling several more incidents between 6:00 AM and noon.
