Yorkshire, NY -Monday night marked another scheduled training session for the department, during which fire and EMS personnel carried out an auto extrication drill. The exercise was designed to enhance operational readiness and strengthen coordination among the crews.

Newer members were given the opportunity to handle extrication tools, gaining firsthand experience under the guidance of more seasoned personnel. For veteran members, the drill served as an important refresher, reinforcing techniques and tool familiarity that may not be used on a daily basis.

The structured training allowed participants to practice safe and efficient methods for accessing and removing individuals from damaged vehicles—skills that are essential during real emergency responses.
