On March 7th, the Fredonia Fire Department stated that Chief Myers met with regional leaders to discuss issues affecting local towns and emergency services.

George Borrello, Andrew Molitor, and Paul M. Wendel Jr. hosted the meeting, which focused on concerns affecting Chautauqua County's fire and emergency medical services operations. Topics discussed included program placements and a lack of proper rehabilitation and support resources, which officials say can result in repeated emergency responses and additional load on local departments.

Fire and EMS professionals throughout the county continue to react to these occurrences despite inadequate resources.
