On March 20th, the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department featured Firefighter Brad Mattison as part of its ongoing Member Highlight series, which honors committed volunteers.

Mattison has spent 30 years with the WVFD and 35 years in the fire service. Department officials praised his long-standing dedication to serving the community and assisting other members.

Mattison said he joined the fire service because he wanted to help people and appreciates the department's sense of family. Outside of the firehouse, he works as Assistant Director for the Village of Wellsville and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Department officials commended Mattison for his decades of service and commitment to the community and the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department.
