Rollover MVA on Cream St Results in Driver Extrication and Road Reopening

Roosevelt, NY - On 15th March 2026 at 9:27 p.m., Roosevelt, Empress EMS, and Hyde Park Police were dispatched to a reported rollover motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment on Cream Street.


Upon arrival, responding personnel confirmed that a vehicle had left the roadway, rolled on its side, and come to rest against a tree, with the driver still inside the vehicle. Rescue crews worked to extricate the driver, who was successfully removed and transferred to EMS for medical evaluation and treatment of injuries after approximately 45 minutes.


Following the extrication and clearance of the scene, the vehicle was removed, and Cream Street was reopened shortly before 11:00 p.m.
