Fire Service Community Honors Life of Paul “Ham” Hamilton

GASPORT, NY — March 13th — Paul "Ham" Hamilton, a lifelong member of the Niagara County fire service community, passed away, according to the Terry's Corners Vol. Fire Co., Inc. Over the years, Hamilton was acknowledged by other firemen as a trustworthy volunteer who assisted with training, emergency responses, and departmental operations. Members reported that he consistently helped with drills and community activities and stayed dedicated to the volunteer fire service's goal.


Members who volunteer for public service, training, and emergency calls are essential to volunteer departments around New York. Hamilton's participation was indicative of this long-standing practice of communal assistance. Firefighters and locals in the Gasport region will remember his service and commitment to the fire department, according to department members.
